Industree Communication Hub for Dalmine Foundation, the historical archive becomes social

Industree Communication Hub presents the new website of Dalmine Foundation www.facciaafaccia.org designed and made by O-One, digital communication unit of Industree Communication Hub. Layout, graphics and functionality have been renovated to maximize the use of the historical archive and reflect a position focused on user engagement.

The new digital platform www.facciaafaccia.org of Dalmine Foundation will be online tomorrow November  25, for the workshop "Cadere nella rete", dedicated to archives, museums and challenges of the web, an annual event organized by Museimpresa, Assolombarda and Confindustria during the “Settimana della Cultura d’impresa”.

The website created by O-One presents in a contemporary way the archive of Dalmine Foundation, an initiative of TenarisDalmine with the aim of promoting the Italian industrial culture valuing the story of a steel company rooted in the area for over a century.

The new website www.facciaafaccia.org, which collects photographs of the historical archives of the Tenaris companies in the world and personally donated by employees and their families, is characterized by the new graphics, presenting indexing on search engine and content re-organized with a view to greater user engagement.

The Foundation was established for the preservation of the historical enterprise, consisting of over 65,000 files, 30,000 photographs, 5,000 architectural drawings, 2,000 books, videos and objects since 1906, for easy access to a diversified audience, carry out studies and research in the fields of business history and divulgate the results through exhibitions, events and seminars.

The project www.facciaafaccia.org makes photographs of the archive easily accessible by users through a division into several sections: the focus on, years, places, issues, society, album and type.
The web experience is intuitive, useful and social: the ability to comment and share your pictures on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest increases the involvement of the user and increases the visibility of the project on the web. "The new online platform and the activation of social channels" - explains Carolina Lussana, head of Dalmine Foundation - "respond in full to our goal of promoting the diffusion of Italian industrial culture, not only by addressing the world of university research and the school but also to a wider audience."

In the coming days will be online the corporate website www.fondazionedalmine.org
