Industree Hub signs Fater’s 2025 Sustainability Report: accessibility at the heart of the project
For the third consecutive year, Industree Hub has partnered with Fater to communicate its sustainability commitment through the company’s Sustainability Report. This year, the project has evolved thanks to a collaboration with AccessiBit, which supported the team through a consultancy process aimed at enhancing compliance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA).
The strategic objective was clear: to transform the Sustainability Report from a reporting document into a genuine engagement tool. This vision led to an integrated approach combining design and digital accessibility, creating a user experience that enables stakeholders to interact with content in a more seamless and intuitive way.
The result is a comprehensive content system—including the Sustainability Report and its Executive Summary, available in both print and PDF formats—that complies with the majority of the criteria set out in the WCAG 2.2 standard. This design choice enhances the quality of communication while ensuring optimal accessibility through assistive technologies such as screen readers, making Fater’s sustainability commitment accessible to an increasingly broad audience.
Beyond technical data, the report adopts an editorial approach that portrays the company through its people and places. Photography and graphic design work together to make the content more engaging, immediate, and user-friendly.
"The integration of accessibility into Fater’s new Sustainability Report is fully aligned with our ongoing journey. It means designing content that is truly more inclusive, clear, and accessible, including for people who rely on assistive technologies," said Maria Giulia Crecchia, Sustainability Brand & Governance Specialist at Fater. "We believe that sustainability is also measured by the quality of access to information and by our ability to create tools that enable people to understand, participate, and share."
"The goal of the project was to transform reporting into a shared space where information is genuinely available to every stakeholder. Rather than simply responding to regulatory requirements, embracing the principles of the European Accessibility Act provided an opportunity to rethink design through the lens of maximum usability, making the value generated by Fater truly accessible and shareable," commented Industree Hub.
