Privacy Policy for Newsletter Subscription Pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR)

Dear User, Industree Hub s.r.l. hereby provides you with information regarding the processing of your personal data, collected through your subscription to our newsletter service.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

Your personal data (in particular, your email address) will be processed exclusively for the following purposes:

  • sending our periodic newsletter containing information, updates on our products and services, commercial and promotional communications, invitations to events, and industry-related editorial content.

The legal basis for this processing is your explicit consent, pursuant to Art. 6, paragraph 1, letter a) of the GDPR. Consent is expressed by your positive action of subscribing to the service.

 

4. Nature of the Data Provision and Consequences of Refusal

Providing your email address to subscribe to the newsletter is entirely optional. Failure to provide or provide consent will only make it impossible for the Data Controller to send you the newsletter, without any other consequences.

 

5. Data Retention Period

Your personal data will be processed and retained until you decide to withdraw your consent (so-called "unsubscribe"). You can easily withdraw your consent at any time by using the appropriate link at the bottom of each communication you receive. In any case, in accordance with the principles of data minimization and storage limitation, the Data Controller will periodically verify your interest in receiving communications. If you are inactive (for example, not interacting with our newsletters) for a continuous period of 24 months, your data may be deleted upon notification.

 

6. Data Recipients Your personal data may be disclosed to:
  • internal personnel of the Data Controller, duly authorized and trained in data processing.
    third-party service providers acting as Data Processors pursuant to Art. 28 of the GDPR, such as companies that provide the newsletter platform or companies that maintain IT systems.

The updated list of Data Processors is available upon request, to be sent to the Data Controller's contact details. Your data will not be disclosed.

 

7. Transfer of Data Abroad

To provide the newsletter service, the Data Controller may use suppliers whose servers may be located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), particularly in the United States of America. In this case, the Data Controller ensures that the data transfer will be carried out in full compliance with applicable legislation. Such transfers will be governed by appropriate safeguards, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission pursuant to Article 46 of the GDPR, supplemented by any additional measures necessary to ensure a level of data protection substantially equivalent to that provided in the European Union.

 

8. Rights of the Data Subject

As a data subject, you have the right to exercise the rights set out in Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, including:

  • Right of access (Article 15): to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed, and, where that is the case, to access that data.
  • Right to rectification (Article 16): to obtain the correction of inaccurate personal data without undue delay.
  • Right to erasure (or "right to be forgotten", Article 17): to obtain the erasure of your personal data.
  • Right to restriction of processing (Article 18): to obtain restriction of processing in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability (Article 20): the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
  • Right to object (Article 21): the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data. In particular, for processing for direct marketing purposes, such as the newsletter, the right to object may be exercised at any time and without having to provide a reason, and will result in the immediate cessation of processing [General Data Protection Regulation].
  • Right to withdraw consent (Article 7): You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as it was given. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

To exercise these rights, you can send a communication to the Data Controller's contact details indicated in point 1. To withdraw consent to the newsletter, the easiest way is to use the "unsubscribe" link found in every email.

 

9. Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, which for Italy is the Italian Data Protection Authority (Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome; email: garante@gpdp.it; certified email: protocollo@pec.gpdp.it), as provided for by Article 77 of the Regulation, or to take appropriate legal action (Article 79 of the Regulation).
