Merida Italia, the Italian branch of the company specializing in high-end bicycles, entrusted us with the launch campaign for the “Scan For Emergency” M.O.R.E. SAFE app. This innovative app allows cyclists, in the event of an accident, to be identified by rescuers via a QR code placed on their bike or helmet, ensuring immediate assistance.

An app for customer safety and a profiled database for dealers

We designed the campaign with the dual objective of presenting the potential of the M.O.R.E. SAFE app to Merida customers and all cycling enthusiasts, while also engaging the company’s extensive dealer network.

The app, developed by Industree Hub and Guglielmo, is based on the innovative “Scan For Emergency” system, which includes a free app and a kit of QR code stickers to be applied to bikes and helmets. In the event of an accident, M.O.R.E. SAFE allows rescuers to immediately access the cyclist’s pre-registered data via the QR code, notify emergency contacts, and share the location.

Additionally, through the same app, customers can receive maintenance reminders, special offers, technical information, event invitations, and personalized news related to Merida products and services.
Thanks to the innovative M.O.R.E. SAFE system, it was possible to build a highly profiled customer database, aimed at developing effective and customized marketing strategies.
