A true deep dive into the “The Dark Side of Japan” concept—the signature world of Yamaha’s iconic MT line—was the heart of the multi-experiential initiative we organized for lifestyle media and influencers. The goal: to present the Yamaha MT-07 and MT-09 models in a unique, unconventional way.

Thrills and adrenaline at Yamaha’s pre-season MT event

“The Dark Side of Japan” was designed as a journey through the shadows and contrasts of Japanese culture and graphic art, combined with the exclusive opportunity to test-ride the new MT motorcycles in their most exhilarating environment. An unforgettable experience, charged with emotion and adrenaline, and at the same time a rich and continuous source of storytelling opportunities for Yamaha’s guests.

From the dramatic group entrance of the bikes, to the welcome by the Dark Rider—guide and emblem of the TDSOJ universe—every detail was designed to amaze. Highlights included a live performance by Nōtan, evocative maxi-projections, and the powerful rhythm of Taiko drums fused with a dark-industrial DJ set. Together, they conveyed the allure of Japan’s most dark, non-conformist side.

In addition to organizing the event, we supported content production for Yamaha’s social channels as well as for the journalists and influencers invited to this exclusive experience.
